ROCKFORD - What was supposed to be a triangular meet between Belvidere North, Jacobs and Jefferson High School, ended up as a dual meet when Jacobs withdrew from the competition.
ROCKFORD - The team of Polly Freund, K. Dyer and Krista Gustafson won the 24th Annual Illinois Snow Sculpting Competition with their sculpture of "Happy Together."
Sherry Ann Drager Shelton, 67, died Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Maplecrest Nursing Home in Belvidere.
